I have a whole section on making the strips, but to answer your question right away, they are strips of fabric, 1"x89" (89" was how wide my duvet is, yours will differ depending on the width of your comforter). I then folded them over the long way and sewed them into long tubes. I then sewed the tubes onto the duvet over the gathered seams. Let me know if you have any more questions, I'm happy to share what I learned while making it! I have a bunch of pictures in the tutorial that will probably make what I'm saying clearer!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14091679138911968737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5889368491939623823.post-22297316744104142102011-11-29T08:39:00.956-07:002011-11-29T08:39:00.956-07:00I love it! Was it ribbon or fabric strips?

http://neroliblossoms.blogspot.com/2011/09/diy-anthro-inspired-duvet.html

Thanks!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
